Hand wash only. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents. Due to the nature of real copper, the material will develop a rich patina over time. To keep the exterior looking new, use a specialist copper polish or a combination of lemon and salt. For copper products, you can use both wooden and metal spoons. Please note, when you store any food in pure copper products, within approximately 5-6 hours, the copper reacts with food, causing the food to oxidise; we would not recommended to store food in your product. Using your copper pots & pans for the first time:
For your copper pot, before the first use, cover the surface of the pot (2-3 cm) with milk and bring to the boil over a low heat. After the milk cools in the pot, cover the pot with the milk; then wash with dish soap and water to prolong the finish of your product.
